Job Summary
Deliver occupational therapy services to adults and children with developmental disabilities within an integrated clinical supports model. Develop person-centered care plans to facilitate functional activities and independence in daily living skills; conduct assessments; provide interventions across a range of ages and abilities; supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and others as assigned; train and support direct support professionals and families; utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices; collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve holistic care goals; emphasize mobility, handling, positioning, feeding, dressing, grooming, perceptual motor development, and mental well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Mandatory membership and licensure with Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
- At least 2 years experience as an OT
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
