Occupational Therapist (OT), Acute Rehabilitation

Assume responsibility and accountability for patients treated by OT assistants, technicians, and students, orienting staff as needed. Assess patient needs, identify interventions, and evaluate treatment progress toward short- and long-term goals. Perform accurate assessments and reassessments per policy, including QI scoring, while addressing pain interfering with function and making appropriate physician contacts. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain professional standards. This role supports adult and geriatric patients in a CARF-accredited, DNV stroke-accredited unit within Lifepoint Health's network of community-based care sites.
