Occupational Therapist (OT), Acute Rehabilitation

Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care under Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and occupational therapy students. Orient staff and students, and assume supervisory duties when qualified. Assess patient needs, identify interventions, and evaluate treatment progress against short and long-term goals. Perform accurate QI scoring and reassessments for adult and geriatric patients in medical rehabilitation. Make appropriate physician contacts to reduce pain and modify interventions.
