Job Summary
Develop specialized treatment plans to help patients regain well-being through exercise and/or prosthetic and orthotic devices. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and instruct families or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements while maintaining equipment and work areas in safe, clean conditions. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with company code of business conduct, corporate compliance agreements, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws. This 11-bed acute rehabilitation unit offers a fast-paced environment for those passionate about helping others.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
