Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver daily occupational therapy services for infants through geriatrics, evaluating patients using records, interviews, and observations to develop individualized treatment programs. Implement activities promoting health and achieving treatment goals while modifying strategies based on ongoing assessments. Provide direct therapy in various functional settings, plan interventions aligned with medical and nursing care plans, and prepare documentation including evaluations and progress notes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure collaborative care. Participate in department program development and share new knowledge through educational programs and clinical internship monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years clinical patient care experience
