Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning for patients. Perform specific assessments, document results, and explain findings to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in implementing treatment protocols, consulting with healthcare professionals, and modifying plans based on evolving conditions. Manage accurate schedules, meet productivity expectations, and participate in multi-disciplinary quality improvement teams and community outreach. Complete appropriate discharge planning, follow-up care, and documentation of patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- OT - Occupational Therapist licensure in Maryland District of Columbia (DC) and/or Virginia
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
