Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning for patients. Perform specific assessments, explain findings to families, and incorporate patient input into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evolving health care environments, consult with healthcare professionals, and document changes requiring plan modifications. Complete discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient care activities, encounter notes, and progress summaries. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility to ensure frictionless patient access. Participate in program planning, protocol development, and assist in orienting new staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support)
