Occupational Therapist OT - Acute Care

Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation. Perform specific assessments, explain findings to patients and families, and incorporate them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in implementing treatment protocols, consult with healthcare professionals, and document changes in patient condition requiring plan modifications. Manage accurate schedules, complete discharge planning and follow-up care, and accurately document and charge for patient activities. Take initiative in pursuing continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff. Monday to Friday schedule with weekend rotation.
