Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation. Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in implementing treatment protocols, consulting with healthcare professionals, and documenting changes in patient conditions. Manage accurate schedules, meet productivity expectations, and complete timely documentation for patient care activities. Provide clinical instruction to students and assist in orienting new staff, volunteers, and technicians. Participate in program planning and protocol development to support established team goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support)
