Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist in Orthopaedics is responsible for evaluating patients and developing treatment plans for individuals of all ages. Key responsibilities include delivering goal-directed treatment, educating patients and families, completing medical documentation, and coordinating care with colleagues. A bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and a valid MD license in Occupational Therapy are required, with preference given to certified hand therapists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited ACOTE program
- Completion of clinical rotations
- Must hold a MD license (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
- Occupational Therapist pursuing CHT specialization if not a CHT
