Job Summary
Occupational Therapist collaborates with clients to plan and design services to meet occupational performance goals, support health lifestyles, prevent illness and disability, and promote health. Provides care within Concordia Hospital’s Rehab Services, with in-person duties in Winnipeg, MB, on days and weekends, 8-hour shifts, under a 1.0 FTE term. Requires legally qualified practice in Manitoba through COTM registration and CPR training per policy; interview may include a skills assessment. Demonstrates evidence-based practice, strong written and verbal communication, ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines, and independent as well as team-based patient care. Expected to adapt to new concepts, techniques, and best practices in health care, with computer literacy as appropriate; commitment to Indigenous outreach and accommodating applicants with disabilities. Indefinite term subject to notice period.”,
Required Qualifications
- Legally qualified to practice Occupational Therapy in Manitoba through registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM)
- Membership in professional associations preferred (e.g., Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists)
- CPR training as per employer policy
- Ability to demonstrate evidence-based practice and strong communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to new concepts and collaborate across disciplines
