OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Job Summary
Occupational Therapist/Hand Therapist responsible for evaluation, treatment, education and testing of assigned patients; supervise clinical operations and assume leadership when needed; develop and implement rehabilitation programs using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities; fabricate adaptive devices and splints; order DME; document patient status within required timelines; supervise and train COTAs, aides, and students; coordinate with the rehab team to upgrade independence and facilitate return to employment; provide training in functional, prevocational, vocational, and activities of daily living; maintain licenses/certifications and participate in staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Occupational Therapy Program from an Accredited University/College
- Must maintain Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License
- Current CPR and AED certification
- National Certificate issued by NBCOT to practice OT
- CHT designation advised (but not required)
- Bi-lingual/Spanish skills a plus
- Two years or more experience in Hand Therapy preferred, new graduates welcome
