Job Summary
Evaluate clients and provide Occupational Therapy upon written physician orders. Manage and supervise Occupational Therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the department's Occupational Therapy offerings, including scheduling, transportation, and filing. Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in Colorado. Requires Colorado licensure, accredited program graduation, and one year of OT experience. PRN schedule with hourly pay ranging from $48.95 to $53.87. Part of Home Health of Western Colorado, a Medicare/Medicaid-certified agency serving older adults in Montrose, Ouray, and Delta counties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
- A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
