Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (PRN) providing in-home and facility-based OT services within a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health care agency. Responsibilities include evaluating clients, delivering occupational therapy upon physician order, supervising OT assistants and rehab aides, and coordinating/optimizing therapy services within the department. Requires Colorado OT license/eligibility, a minimum of 1 year of OT experience, and adherence to the OT Practice Act. Hourly pay range is $48.95–$53.87 based on experience; benefits include insurance, PTO/personal days, life and disability coverage, EAP, and referral/scholarship opportunities. Located in Montrose, CO with a PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or registered Occupational Therapist in Colorado
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum or eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client’s attending physician
- Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities
- Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing)
- Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state
