Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive specialist neurodevelopmental assessments for children referred via NHS Patient Choice and GP referral, diagnosing suspected autism and/or ADHD using established tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R. Deliver expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, and medico-legal cases including criminal, prison, family, and immigration law. Work within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team as part of a multidisciplinary group, producing detailed reports and maintaining clinical records. This hybrid role offers a permanent full or part-time position with a salary of £45,000 - £55,000, located in Newcastle Upon Tyne NE3.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Must be eligible to work in UK
- Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/ specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
- ADOS-2/ ADI-R /ADHD trained
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in report writing and record keeping
