Job Summary
Provide program participant evaluations, occupational therapy services, and supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants. Administer innovative treatment programs, develop effective treatment plans, and manage assigned caseloads while setting up home exercise programs and performing evaluations. Collaborate with physicians, families, and community resources to ensure program effectiveness, serve on rehabilitation treatment teams, and complete mandatory training. Maintain participant documentation, submit weekly schedule requests, and participate in departmental meetings and in-service programs. Adhere to Service Monitoring System standards and ethics. Travel as needed for assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- one year human services experience
- Must be licensed OT/L in state
- member in good standing with AOTA
- Travel as needed
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Desired Qualifications
- One year experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred
