Job Summary
Occupational Therapist - Neuro (PRN) provides rehabilitation services across the care continuum to restore or improve ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and ROM. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, selecting and revising activities with patients/families, providing education, discharge planning, and coordinating with physicians and staff. Requires OT licensure, BLS, and a Master's or Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy. Emphasizes ethical practice, confidentiality, teamwork, infection prevention, and high-quality patient service; experience with documentation and adherence to departmental guidelines is expected. Based in Roswell, GA (Wellstar Health System) with on-site responsibilities in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapist licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Effective communication skills
- Strong customer service focus and team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer skills
- No specific experience required
