Job Summary
Administer occupational therapy to patients in their residences under physician orders and clinical supervision. Perform skilled procedures, conduct initial evaluations, and develop care plans with periodic physician recertification. Direct and supervise staff, instruct families on home programs, and document progress notes and discharge summaries. Consult with physicians on treatment changes and advise other agency personnel. Participate in QAPI activities and in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- Certified by successfully completing the National Certification examination
- Eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
