Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed at Miracle Kids Success Academy and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy, working with children from birth to 6 years in an early intervention pediatric setting. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide therapy services for developmental delays and related conditions (e.g., fine motor, sensory, gross motor, feeding, and cognitive delays), conducting evaluations and contributing to treatment planning, and engaging with families to support child care and developmental goals. Candidates should hold an Arkansas OT license, have at least one year of relevant experience (or equivalent), and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment and work effectively with diverse populations. Required Qualifications
- Current Arkansas license as a Occupational Therapist
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work with children between the ages of birth to 6 who are at risk.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
