Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate functional abilities and support needs within the home and/or community to promote independence. Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals. Make recommendations for equipment, home modifications, or support services based on assessment findings and identify suitable providers for trials. Prepare timely reports outlining findings and educate clients on adaptive strategies and safe task performance. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to continuous quality improvement through team meetings and professional development. Casual hours available based on availability. Requires tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, full AHPRA registration, and a current driver's license with own car.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry
- Fabulous communication skills
- Well developed time management skills
- A current Driver's License
- Access to own car
- Comprehensive insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded
