Job Summary
Provide students with sound clinical Occupational Therapy programs aligned with Individual Education Plans (IEPs); conduct individual and group sessions; support classroom staff with therapeutic program implementation; deliver sensory motor programs; contribute to prescriptive feeding and adaptive equipment efforts; participate in meetings and staff development; coordinate with parents for home programs; work with interdisciplinary teams on goals; design/modify adaptive equipment; document per regulations; understand population characteristics; provide clinical instruction for future therapists; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
- NYS Occupational Therapy license (or in pursuit of)
