Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized treatment plans and implement therapeutic activities to improve functional independence. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Document progress, update care plans, and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. Adapt quickly to diverse clinical environments including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics, schools, and long-term care facilities. Maintain NBCOT certification and BLS/CPR credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state license as an Occupational Therapist
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in occupational therapy (1–2 years preferred, but new grads may be considered)
