Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive developmental and learning assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and develop individualised intervention plans. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic goals into children's daily environments and equip key adults with skills to support therapy outcomes. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, provide training and upskilling to staff, and maintain accurate documentation while participating in multidisciplinary meetings. Primarily work in school settings with opportunities for clinic and remote-based roles.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC and RCOT registration
- Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy
- Fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Paediatric occupational therapy experience
- Experience working within a specialist paediatric setting
- Experience working within school settings
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
