Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental or learning needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Develop and implement individualised intervention plans while collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate goals into daily environments. Evaluate intervention effectiveness and provide training to key adults to support therapy goals. Maintain accurate documentation and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care for young people with complex needs. Work primarily in school settings with potential for clinic and remote-based opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC and RCOT registration
- Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Paediatric occupational therapy experience
- Experience working within a specialist paediatric setting
- Experience working within school settings
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
