Job Summary
Occupational Therapist – Learning Disabilities & Transitions in Stevenage. Build effective relationships with residents, professionals and community networks. Conduct assessments using appropriate frameworks and develop cost-effective, person-centred support plans. Manage your own caseload independently, prioritising tasks and delivering high-quality outcomes. Participate in planning and reviewing cases, contributing technical expertise and insights. Provide feedback to support service improvement and operational planning. Must be HCPC-registered and able to work with adults with learning disabilities and transition work; knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005; valid UK driving licence.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified, HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and transition work
- Knowledge of the Care Act 2014
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Strong decision-making and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence and regular access to a vehicle
- References available upon request
