Job Summary
Deliver front-line Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews across the directorate, including proactive reviews of care packages to ensure best value and effectiveness. Support waiting list reduction through efficient triage and intervention, reduce duplication between health and social care services, and provide guidance on safe moving & handling practices. Work collaboratively across multiple OT teams providing mutual aid, maintain accurate records, and contribute to service data collection. Qualifications include an OT degree/diploma with HCPC registration; experience in Adult Social Care and in Learning Disabilities/Autism/Mental Health; strong assessment, review, and manual handling skills; and ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent communication and partnership work.
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Strong experience within Adult Social Care
- Experience with Learning Disabilities / Autism / Mental Health
- Manual Handling experience (essential)
- Strong assessment and review skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
- Excellent communication and partnership working
