Job Summary
Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients within the home health setting. Direct patients and caregivers in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance while providing family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians, maintain appropriate records, and refer patients to external resources as needed. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, and mentor students and new hires. Serve as a backup service provider for other caseloads. Requires a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and valid driver's license. Full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
