Job Summary
Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients within home health settings. Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore or enhance performance while providing family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff, physicians, and other disciplines to maintain progress records and refer families to appropriate resources. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, and mentor new hires. Serve as a backup service provider as needed while demonstrating independent judgment and initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
