Occupational Therapist

Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct occupational therapy screenings for pediatric patients within the home health setting. Direct patients and caregivers in selected tasks to restore or enhance performance while providing family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians, maintain appropriate records, and refer families to appropriate external resources. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, and mentor students and new hires. Serve as a backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.
