Job Summary
Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs nationwide for 13-week assignments, directing patient participation to restore performance and correct pathology. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, design treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques covering cognitive skills, mobility, balance, and adaptive device training. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while ensuring adherence to plans of care, timely documentation, and safety protocols. Make referrals, consult with the rehabilitation team, and select appropriate activities suited to individual capacity. Maintain equipment, order supplies, and enforce safety standards to promote a caring environment. This Journey Traveler role offers flexibility across the U.S. with full-time security, including H-1B sponsorship and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
- Must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapist's primary home
