Job Summary
Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks that restore and enhance performance. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, develop treatment goals, and implement plans covering cognitive skills, mobility, and adaptive device training. Supervise therapy assistants and students while adapting care based on individual needs, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to safety standards. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments across skilled nursing, assisted living, and home-based settings. Full-time role with H-1B sponsorship available; salary range $55-$70/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
- Must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapist's primary home
