Job Summary
Assess functional limitations and medical conditions of patients using objective evaluation techniques. Prescribe and implement treatment programs designed to return patients to their maximum level of function. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes while promoting improvements in service, department, and hospital systems. Operate within the goals and objectives of the organization under the direct supervision of Rehabilitation Clinical Coordinators. Requires knowledge of Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation, current State licensure, and AHA Healthcare Provider CPR. Shift is 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program
- Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
- Knowledge of Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred
