Job Summary
Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to restore function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, and cognitive tasks for patients with disease or injury. Implement treatment plans by selecting appropriate activities, revising goals with patient input, and providing ongoing education and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs while documenting evaluations, sessions, and family education according to departmental guidelines. Maintain attendance, adhere to dress codes and infection prevention precautions, and participate in staff meetings and training. Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies and standards of work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Occupational Therapy
- Masters Occupational Therapy
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Team oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
