Job Summary
Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to restore function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, and cognitive tasks for patients with disease or injury. Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to progress patients toward goals, and revise plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources while documenting evaluations and sessions per departmental guidelines. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans. Maintain attendance, adhere to dress codes and infection prevention precautions, and participate in staff meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Occupational Therapy
- Masters Occupational Therapy
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Team oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
