Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA needed at InReach Rehab for George C. Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, IA. The role offers full-time or part-time opportunities within a rural, collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations to determine patient needs and goals, developing individualized treatment plans to improve independence and daily function, implementing interventions addressing ADLs/IADLs, fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment, documenting progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals, supervising COTAs, educating patients and families, participating in team meetings and quality initiatives, and contributing to professional development. Requires Master’s or Doctorate in OT (or pending graduation), Iowa OT license or eligibility, strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or anticipated graduation)
- Current Iowa OT license or eligibility upon graduation
- Strong clinical reasoning and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes
- Experience in rural healthcare or interest in serving rural communities
- Willingness to supervise and collaborate with COTAs
- Strong documentation and time-management skills
