Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) position at InReach Rehab/Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, NE. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans to improve independence and safety in daily activities, implementing interventions addressing ADLs/IADLs, fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment and training patients/caregivers, documenting evaluations and progress, collaborating with other professionals for coordinated care, supervising COTAs, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions, educating patients and families on home programs and safety, and participating in team meetings and quality improvement. Requires Master’s/Doctorate in OT, Nebraska OT license or eligibility, strong clinical reasoning and communication skills, rural healthcare interest, and ability to work in a team; E-Verify employer.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or anticipated graduation)
- Current Nebraska OT license or eligibility upon graduation
- Strong clinical reasoning and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes
- Experience in rural healthcare or interest in serving rural communities
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Willingness to supervise and collaborate with COTAs
