Job Summary
Create tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain skills for daily living and leisure activities. Facilitate participation in meaningful activities by teaching new task performance methods and providing education on condition management, safety precautions, and adaptive equipment use. Deliver top-of-scope direct patient care and model proficiency by precepting new staff in imaging procedures. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team. This onsite role at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, offers PRN coverage with a base pay of $38.72–$58.08 per hour, subject to experience, and includes a structured career ladder with tuition reimbursement and performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
