Job Summary
Create tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain skills for daily living and work activities. Facilitate participation in meaningful activities by teaching new task performance methods and providing education on condition management, safety precautions, and adaptive equipment use to patients, families, and caregivers. Deliver top-of-scope direct patient care procedures while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff in a multidisciplinary team environment. Maintain current Colorado licensure and BLS certification, reporting to the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion OT Rehab Unit in Aurora, CO, on a full-time days shift with a 64-hour biweekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Full Time employment
- 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- Days shift
- Onsite role
- No hybrid or remote option
