Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Hospital - Per Diem

Job Summary
Conduct medical record reviews to identify areas of focus, contraindications, and precautions before patient evaluations. Develop written prioritized plans of care with short- and long-term rehabilitation goals in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team. Implement discharge plans and instruct patients, families, and essential personnel on home exercise programming and adaptive device use. Provide clinical supervision to therapy assistants and rehabilitation assistants. Participate in ongoing clinical development programming and deliver educational presentations annually. Work in the inpatient department at Elliot Health System, a Level 2 trauma center and DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence. Schedule includes day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, weekdays as needed, and at least two weekend days monthly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Entry Level Degree
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the state of New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Governing Board
- CPR certification
- CPR certification ability to complete within first 90 days
- Day shift with variable start times 7-8:30AM
- Weekdays as needed
- At least 2 weekend days a month
