Job Summary
Evaluate patients and formulate individualized treatment programs in coordination with physicians. Implement activities to help patients regain functioning or adjust to handicaps while maintaining patient records and directing aides and students. Administer medications safely in accordance with policy and receive verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners. Operate OT equipment and modalities requiring physical dexterity and effective communication with patients, families, and staff. Maintain appropriate equipment inventory and assist in program development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, current Wisconsin OTR certification, and BLS/CPR certification. Night and evening shift differential applies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in: Occupational Therapy
- Current certification to practice as O.T.R. by State of Wisconsin
- Valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois based on job assignment location
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire
