Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver daily occupational therapy services across infant through geriatric populations, developing and implementing individualized treatment programs based on ongoing patient evaluations. Provide direct therapy in various functional settings while establishing intervention goals aligned with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing care plans. Prepare comprehensive documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, and communicate patient status with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in department program development, mentor clinical interns, and enhance professional growth through educational workshops and literature. Work primarily during days with rotating weekends and holidays as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on Moving Health Forward.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- 1-3 years clinical patient care experience
