Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized therapeutic interventions for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex orthopedic conditions. Coordinate care to restore activities of daily living, vocational skills, and homemaking abilities while monitoring progress and adjusting treatments for optimal outcomes. Build trust with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team through comprehensive assessments and patient-centered planning. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to occupational therapy assistants and mentor OT students. Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and professional standards. Rotating weekends required; full-time 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program
- OT-Occupational Therapist
- BLS-Basic Life Support
- 2 years experience as Occupational Therapist
- Critical thinking
