Job Summary
Occupational Therapist position responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating injuries and disabilities using occupational therapy procedures in accordance with standard practices. Includes consulting, educating and training patients, families, and caregivers; collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care; maintaining compliant documentation and billing; supervising staff as needed; participating in continuing education and quality improvement; contributing to program development and marketing strategies to grow the rehabilitation program. Requires licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS, strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform duties consistent with professional standards and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Basic Computer skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
