Job Summary

Provide outpatient occupational therapy services during assigned shifts, including occasional weekend or holiday coverage. Perform initial evaluations, periodic reevaluations, and update treatment plans and goals in collaboration with physicians. Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to patient diagnosis, learning needs, and age while educating patients and caregivers on therapy procedures and safe equipment use. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and third-party payers regarding patient status. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide mentorship to staff and students. Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
