Job Summary
Administer appropriate evaluation tools based on patient diagnoses and age, then develop individualized treatment plans reflecting evaluation results. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with department and hospital guidelines while collaborating with department and interdepartmental teams to improve clinical processes. Work within Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care Units as part of a team partnered with Mary Free Bed. Requires current National Board certification, Michigan state registration, and graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Certification in Occupational Therapy (Current registration held by the National Board for Certification or eligibility for immediate registration)
- Registered State of Michigan Occupational Therapist
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- MHC requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
