Job Summary
Provide children with diagnostic and therapeutic occupational therapy services in their natural environments (e.g., home or childcare). The OT III level may assume advanced duties including evaluation, program planning, and supervision of OT students. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating OT treatment/intervention, completing developmental assessments, participating in family interviews, developing IFSP-based treatment plans addressing neuro-motor and sensory-motor function, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, assisting with adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, maintaining treatment records, and traveling as needed. Requires a Master’s degree in occupational therapy and an Oklahoma OT license. Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, ability to interpret medical plans, provide family coaching/education, supervise interns, and work effectively in team settings are essential; travel may be required. Being present in the office is an essential function.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Oklahoma OT license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
- Licensure validation (letter of eligibility acceptable for Level I)
- Ability to supervise occupational therapy student interns during fieldwork
- Statement of legal work authorization in the United States without visa sponsorship
