Job Summary
Conduct home health visits in Calvert County to perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, and communication skills. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects to develop individualized intervention plans and evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers to independent living. Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations to enhance client outcomes, while continually revising care plans and collaborating with nursing staff. Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities promoting health and safety. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Requires a current Maryland Occupational Therapist license and at least one year of recent work experience.
Required Qualifications
- A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Solid computer skills
