Job Summary
Conduct home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in Harford County, performing thorough evaluations of functional status, muscle function, and cognitive aspects. Assess home environments for hazards and identify equipment needs to enhance independent living outcomes. Develop individualized intervention plans, revise care plans with nursing, and educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities. Accurately document observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current Maryland Occupational Therapist license, one year of recent OT experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Base pay ranges from $53.00 to $68.00 per point, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- A current MD Occupational Therapist license
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
- Ability to work independently
