Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs in home settings. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's goals, providing direct therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including speech therapists and case managers, while educating patients and families on treatment options and progress strategies. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on observed results, maintaining accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions. Requires an accredited Occupational Therapy degree, valid state licensure, and experience with disabilities. Based in Fairfax, Arlington, or Alexandria, this role offers a flexible schedule with benefits including 401(k) and travel reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of physiology and occupational health principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop effective care plans that address individual patient needs
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care and rehabilitation outcomes
- Occupational Therapy License (Required)
Desired Qualifications
