Job Summary
Provide skilled restorative occupational therapy to enhance physical function, pain management, and independence in ADLs for home health patients. Responsibilities include developing and implementing OT plans of care, performing visits and assessments (including OASIS as appropriate), coordinating with physicians, educating patients and families, supervising paraprofessionals as needed, documenting timely in EMR, and contributing to quality improvement programs. Requires strong communication, English proficiency, ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and an active OT license. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and relevant clinical experience are required; home health setting experience highly preferred. PRN/part-time schedule with ongoing opportunities to support patient care in the home health setting across Compassus Ascension collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required
- Active Occupational Therapist license in state(s) of employment required
- At least one (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care, home health, or rehabilitation setting highly preferred
